Privacy Policy
We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal information. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your information.
Philosophy
We hold ourselves to a high standard with your data. We treat you the way we would want to be treated.
Our business model is based on your one-time purchase or ongoing subscription fee. We do not sell your data. We only use your data to provide the services you have given it for.
Jurisdiction
We will comply with any legally valid demand for your data, such as by warrant from law enforcement.
Your data is stored in the United States.
Data Collected
We may collect personal information such as your name and email address when you provide it to us through our website or the app.
We may also collect non-personal information, such as your IP address, browser type, and operating system, to improve our website and services and to analyze trends.
We do not collect your payment information. That is handled by our payment processor.
On request, we will provide records of all data we have stored on your behalf.
We will delete any of your data you ask us to.
Desktop App
The Linklever desktop app collects no data from you. Your rules, filters, and preferences are stored locally on your own computer.
The app does not transmit any browsing, usage, or telemetry data over the network. The only network activity it can make is an optional check for a new version, and only if you enable "Auto Update" in settings.
Browser Extension
The Linklever browser extension is a companion to the Linklever desktop app. When you choose to use the extension, it sends the URLs of links you open through it to the Linklever desktop app running on your own computer. This communication happens over the operating system's native messaging channel and never leaves your computer.
The extension does not transmit any data to us or to any third party over the internet. It does not collect analytics, telemetry, or browsing history. It stores only your local preferences using the browser's local storage.
The extension requests the webNavigation and tabs permissions only when you enable the auto-route feature, and only to detect and redirect navigations through the Linklever desktop app. You can revoke these permissions at any time by disabling auto-route.
Data Shared
We don't transmit your data to any third party.
Other
We use reasonable and standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure.
Our website may contain links to other websites that are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these websites and recommend that you review their privacy policies.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
